Practical information
Everything you need to know to prepare your stay at the Roc Soleil chalet.
Outside
- Private covered parking reserved for the chalet.
- Access to the chalet via a covered staircase from the car shelter.
- Secured ski and bike room.
- Large terrace with family barbecue.
Interior equipment
- 4 bedrooms, sleeping 8–10 people (3 double beds and 4 single beds, plus an optional extra bed).
- 3 shower rooms and 3 toilets (see detailed floor plans in the "Explore the interior" section).
- Fully equipped kitchen: oven, dishwasher, hob, microwave, refrigerator, drawer freezer...
- Washing machine and tumble dryer.
- Fondue, raclette and stone-grill appliances.
- Television with satellite, Hi‑Fi system, DVD player and Wi‑Fi Internet access.
Booking conditions
- Prices are in euros and are per week.
- Arrival usually from 4 p.m., departure before 10 a.m.
- The booking is confirmed only after receipt of the deposit.
- Visitor’s tax is not included in the price.
- Two optional packages are available: an end-of-stay cleaning service and a full linen set (bed linen and towels).
Pets
- As a general rule, pets are not allowed in the chalet.
Summer activities
- Mountain hiking and climbing.
- Cycling, mountain biking and canyoning.
- Paragliding.
- Horse riding, swimming and many Multipass activities throughout the Portes du Soleil area.
Winter activities
- Alpine skiing in Avoriaz and the Portes du Soleil ski area.
- Nordic skiing and snowshoeing.
- Ice rink and other snow activities.
Access to the pistes and the village centre
- Free ski-bus shuttles 50 m from the chalet to the Morzine–Avoriaz lifts.
- Resort centre and sports complex about 10 minutes’ walk away.
Other information
- A small garden-level apartment may occasionally be occupied by the owners (secondary residence).
- Non-smoking chalet: smoking is not permitted inside, but is allowed on the balconies and terrace.
